Imports
Import Interactive Brokers with a Flex statement
Fillnovo imports Interactive Brokers stocks and futures through an Activity Flex Query. Coverage depends on its period, Execution level, selected currency and statement time zone. The connector remains in beta.
- Create the Flex query
- Choose currency and time zone
- Check excluded records
- Compare a complete sample

- Frequently asked questions
Create the Flex query
In Client Portal, open Performance & Reports, then Flex Queries. Create an Activity Flex Query for the relevant account and a period covering both entries and exits. Use the Trades section at Execution level.
- Include tradeID, symbol, assetCategory, currency, dateTime, buySell and quantity.
- Add tradePrice, multiplier, ibCommission, ibCommissionCurrency and ibOrderID.
- Enable Flex Web Service and obtain the token and Query ID.
Choose currency and time zone
In Fillnovo, select USD, EUR, GBP or CHF and the time zone actually used in the statement. Executions in other currencies are flagged and skipped; this is not a multicurrency portfolio conversion.
Check excluded records
Options and other unsupported asset classes are not imported. Cancellations are flagged, but the original trade still needs correction. Dividends and splits are not calculated. Keep the source statement to explain discrepancies.
Compare a complete sample
Check an entry, an exit, a partial exit and commissions wherever the statement contains them. For futures, check the contract multiplier. A valid Flex report may contain no executions in the selected period.

Frequently asked questions
Does IBKR synchronization work in real time?
No. Fillnovo uses Flex reports and periodic synchronization, not a live quote or execution feed.
Is a statement aggregated by symbol sufficient?
No. The connector requires individual executions at Execution level to reconstruct trades.
