The Alpaca connector reads US stock and USD spot crypto executions. Paper and Live use different keys: select the environment containing your trades. Paper results remain simulated results.

Match keys to the environment
Create separate trading accounts for Paper and Live if you use both. Copy the key and secret from Alpaca, then select the matching environment in Fillnovo. A Paper key must not be used to read a Live account.
Understand permissions
An Alpaca key may permit trading. Fillnovo uses it to read history but cannot automatically verify its permissions. The acknowledgement in the form explains this limitation; it does not make the key read-only.
Compare executions, not order requests
Check fill activities: symbol, side, quantity, price and timestamp. An order cancelled without any fill must not create a trade. Compare partially filled orders with their executed quantity, not the quantity requested.
Interpret Paper results
A Paper import checks reconstruction of simulated trades, not real execution conditions. This connector does not import fees, dividends, transfers or corporate actions. Check net results independently.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my Paper account empty in Fillnovo?
Check the selected environment and executed activities for US stocks or USD crypto. Pending orders and a Paper balance are not execution history.
Are Alpaca options imported?
No. Fillnovo excludes options and covers US stocks and USD spot crypto.
